I found Youman purely thanks to Niru Kajitsu’s twitter, and I’m so happy I did. My first song of his was Weenywalker (You can find Magenetra’s english subs for it here). He makes stellar rock music and has so far only used GUMI and Flower.
Continue readingBewitching / Mushi P feat. Hatsune Miku
I’ve always loved how cynical Mushi makes miku sound. Unfortunately I’m running out of new content of his to translate, so I’m going backwards. The lyrics are a bit um… questionable, but not the worst I’ve seen.
Continue readingZombie Halation / John feat. Hatsune Miku
At first I thought this was just an apocalyptic zombie song, but it may be more. Being metaphorically rotten to the core, maybe? Up to you to say.
Continue readingVijin / John feat. Hatsune Miku
Vijin’s probably one of my top favorite’s from John, though to be honest all of their music grows on me eventually. This one was pretty straightforward and a little sad. I did this before Cala lula came out, but given that song’s pv the two mightttt be related. Can’t say until I get to it eventually.
John didn’t permit me to reprint, so I commented this on their video. That’s what I’ll be doing until John activates CC, as well as storing them here.
Continue readingIsubokuro / Utaite
Isubokuro’s an utaite I’ve been following for awhile now. He has a powerful, wide-ranged voice. He usually sings alternative rock or pop, but he’s dabbled in a number of different genres over the years. Personally, I love his covers of MARETU’s music the most.
Continue readingFarewell Song / Mushi P feat. Hatsune Miku
When I went back to listen to Mushi’s old works, I remembered really liking this song. So, I decided to translate it! The song was bittersweet (I’m sensing a pattern here), but had a light yet somber beat.
Continue readingCappuccino / Mushi P feat. Hatsune Miku ☕
Hello again! I’ve been really into translating lately, so I found an excuse to gush about Mushi P again lol. Presenting, Cappuccino! It was a song I really loved from his 6-Sense album, and I had to share it.
Continue readingKikuo-P / Alternative, House
It’s hard to describe Kikuo in one sentence. His music may be upbeat, but looking at the lyrics always says otherwise for the most part. In the West, he’s most known for his controversial song, “I’m Sorry, I’m Sorry” feat. Hatsune Miku.
Continue readingMushi-P / Jazz, Fusion, “Dark-kawaii”
Mushi-P is a composer who mainly uses Mayu and Miku for his works, as well as crafting stunning instrumental pieces on the side. He’s known most for “Henna Ko ne” or “Strange Kid,” a song released a few years ago. His music tends to have a lonely yet nostalgic atmosphere.
